Mobile check-in
Use your mobile device to check in for United®- or United Express®-operated itineraries within the U.S., Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. You may access mobile check-in starting 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure.
New! Now you can select or change your seat assignment when checking in for flights within the U.S. on your mobile device. You can also choose to stand by for an alternate United flight within the U.S. from your mobile device.
Mobile boarding passes*
Choose to have your boarding pass sent directly to your mobile device via email for qualifying itineraries.** No printing is necessary. Once you receive your boarding pass, simply scan the barcode on the screen at airport security checkpoints and at the gate during boarding. Should a seat change, upgrade or change in departure gate occur, your boarding pass can be refreshed to display the new information.
